Obamaloney and Your Health (photos)

9 08 2012

I was reading about the new candidate tags bullied about by the opposition and the “Reverse Romney Hood” christened by Barack Obama makes its political point, but just comes off sounding lame.  Now if you want to sink you teeth into something with big health consequences then “Obamaloney” or Obama Loney is your ticket. Someone (see above) said it is 100% bull, but that can be interpreted as crap or pure protein. Those who have drank liberally of the Kool Aid would go with the Atkins ingredient list.

If this butcher can find a sign “from above” in his inventory, then surely if we slice up Obamaloney, we might find therein some interesting descriptors without nuance or misinterpretation.

This lunch meat loaf looks too pure and wholesome to do the trick. Its missing the requisite gristle, congealed fat and other disgustables that have been offered by our President, Senate Majority Leader and House Minority Leader as of late.

This gentleman is what we get at our front door if we choose to disagree with Obama, support Mitt Romney or exercise our opposition to what he is cramming down our collective throats.

This would be better with a heaping ladle of Obamagravy and some of that grape Kool Aid.

The old protein standby: SPAM, never seemed so good nor as nutritious!

Does Barack Obama Tell the Truth?

In 2008, Barack Obama promised he would put an end to the type of politics that “breeds division and conflict and cynicism” and he would help us “rediscover our bonds to each other and get out of this constant, petty bickering that’s come to characterize our politics.”

As president, Obama and his administration declared (a) he would cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term, (b) unemployment would not exceed 8 percent, (c) he would bend the health care cost curve down, (d) poverty would decrease, and (e) he would fix the housing crisis. In reality, Obama has submitted four budgets with trillion-dollar-plus deficits, March was the 38th consecutive month with unemployment above 8 percent, health care costs have risen, more than 46 million people are in poverty, the largest number in the 50-plus years for which poverty estimates have been published, and the housing crisis has worsened on Obama’s watch.

“This is my last election,” Obama told Medvedev (Video and Commentary)

26 03 2012

So, the president is certain he will get another term and is assuring Russia of the same. Also, foreign politics of any import will be put on the back-burner, ignored or postponed in this an election year.

In a private conversation about the planned U.S.-led NATO missile defense system in Europe, President Barack Obama asked outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev for space on the issue. “This is my last election,” Obama told Medvedev. “After my election I have more flexibility.”

The Cost & Legacy of Obama’s Deficits

15 02 2012

. . .deficit spending during Obama’s four years in the White House (based on his own figures) will be an estimated $5.170 trillion — or $5,170,000,000,000.00.

To help put that colossal sum of money into perspective, if you take our deficit spending under Obama and divide it evenly among the roughly 300 million American citizens, that works out to just over $17,000 per person — or about $70,000 for a family of four.

9 Trillion Debt: Cost to your Daughter

1 09 2009

$9,000.000,000,000.00

$9,000.000,000,000.00

Just did some number crunching during a break at work.  The calculator on my computer was not up to the task.  Nor was my solar powered company issued model.  What is a soul to do?  I went on line and after three tries found a computation system of merit.

Taking the White House estimate of the national debt in 10  years of 9 Trillion dollars and using the low-ball number of 300,000,000 people in the USA currently and dividing it up for each person (mother, father, child, aunt, cousin and grandparent, etc…)  I arrived at:

$30,000.

All we can do as good Americans is to cough  up  this amount now and the country and the current administration can rest assured that all is well in LaLa Land.

$9,000.000,000,000.00

$9,000.000,000,000.00
